The northernmost part of the Comacchio coast takes its name from one of the older branches of the river Po. It is surrounded by the pine forest of the Foce di Volano Nature Reserve, with its unspoiled charm.
From here you can enjoy direct contact with unspoiled nature to the fullest: the beaches, with their sandy shore made for long walks and sunbathing, are protected by a large pinewood and look towards the great Po Delta and the Sacca di Goro.
Today this most unspoiled of the Seven Lidi boasts a modern tourist port near the bridge over the Volano. Due to its slightly isolated position, open to the winds and marine currents, it is the best place for specialized sports like kite surfing and windsurfing.
Its pinewoods (pineta) are owned by the government and are there to guide the local development of environmental tourism; they are a nature reserve where you can wander for relaxation. The area is made up of recently deposited stretches of sand, which were planted with trees in the mid-1930s to save them from being eroded by the sea. As well as the Common Pine and the Maritime variety (more tolerant of salty ground), other species have been introduced like the ilex and the farnia oak.
Nice 3-rooms-villa situated in a housing estate of detached houses with independent entrance and garden at 600 m from the beach and 350 m from the centre. The house is on the ground floor and has a large patio with fireplace, car park.
The house consists of a living room with kitchenette (cooker, fridge, freezer and washing machine) and a sofa bed for two persons, bedroom with double bed, bedroom with two single beds and bathroom with shower. Guests have access to a garden, private parking and the large patio with barbecue.

The Cannevié nature reserve is located near the village of Volano, between Mesola Woods, the Po di Volano, and the sandbanks at the mouth of the river. Its history in fishing goes back to the 17th century, and this is confirmed by the interesting buildings you can still see today. The woods are laid out with nature trails, and on foot you can cross the little bridges to hideouts made for watching the wide range of birdlife.

This holiday park is nestled amidst three stunning natural areas: the Mantingerzand, known for its shifting sands and grazing Scottish Highland cows; the Geeserstroomgebied, a unique and picturesque landscape; and the juniper-filled Mantingerzand. The park gets its name from a Bronze Age relic, the "Bronze Bucket," discovered in Meppen’s Es fields, showcasing the region’s historical allure. Adjacent to the charming village of Meppen, known for its traditional thatched-roof farms and majestic oak trees, this location offers tranquility and lush greenery.

The bungalow offers a tranquil and private setting, while still being conveniently close to the park's amenities. Parking is available directly at the bungalow.
Inside, the bungalow features a spacious living room with a cozy wood stove, a dining area, a bar, and an open-plan kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with a complete inventory and includes a dishwasher, microwave, oven, refrigerator (without freezer compartment), coffee maker, and kettle.
There are three bedrooms: two large bedrooms, each furnished with a double box spring bed (new in 2022!) measuring 160 x 200 cm, a wardrobe, and a sink, and a third bedroom with a 3-person bunk bed. The bunk bed includes a lower double bed (140 x 200 cm) and an upper single bed (90 x 200 cm).
The bathroom is equipped with a bathtub, a shower (within the bathtub), and a sink. A separate toilet with an additional sink is also available.
For entertainment and connectivity, the bungalow offers Wi-Fi, a radio/CD player, and a TV with CAI. Outdoors, there is a south-facing veranda and a spacious garden complete with garden furniture for your relaxation.

But, before that, you will have been able to enjoy an amazing summer day at the beach which is about 850 meters or 10 minutes walk away.
This two-storey house offers a living-dining room open to the kitchen through a bar. Here, you can relax while watching the TV-Sat, enjoying a good reading or having lunch all together. The kitchen is very simple although with all utensils and appliances necessary to cook, like a ceramic hob, electric oven, microwave and more. The house features 3 bedrooms with a closet each. One is on the main floor and offers a single bed. The other two bedrooms are upstairs and both feature a double bed. All the rooms have an electric radiator for the coldest days, and the two on the top floor also come with a fan. There are two bathrooms, one with a bathtub on the first floor and the other outside with a shower. You will find a washing machine, an iron and an ironing board in the house, of course, and they are placed at the terrace. The eastern coast of Mallorca, cca 20 min driving, is full of wonderful beaches. In Porto Cristo you will find a nice sandy beach, but also a harbor, restaurants and the famous Caves of Drach. These caves will surprise you, by their stalagmites, stalactites and underground long called Llac Mantel. Cala Millor is ideal for having a drink at night or visit the zoo safari, where especially children will enjoy. Cala Magrana, Cala Mendia, Cala Romantica, S'Illot and Cales de Mallorca are just a few examples of beautiful eastern beaches of fine sand.

Maria de la Salut is a cozy town, located at the centre of the island, so is very easy to get to anywhere else in a reasonable time. There is mainly people from the island living there, so is not full of tourism and you can discover the real Majorca. You can find anything you need at the village, a supermarket, bars and some restaurants. Only 15 minutes drive and you will get to the beach of Ses Casetes des Capellans and Can Picafort.
